I love when my CSA sends me a fruit I've never seen before

 Just ate a Pluot for the first time, apparently it's a hybrid between a plum and an apricot! Tasted pretty good :)

    I had my first pluot last year and it was good! I don't normally like fruit, but the variety I tasted – a dinosaur egg – was sweet and delicious! My co-worker, who apparently grows them, has promised me more this season. I can't wait!

    I checked which variety mine are, they are Dapple Dandy which wikipedia says is the same as Dinosaur Egg :)
