You can still defeat this pretty easily by using a video instead of a photo, I was able to unlock my Nexus 7 by recording a video of me blinking with my Galaxy Nexus and then playing it back.

    A retinal scan, and thumb print combined! Although, admittedly, unless you have some crazy top level government security clearance slide to unlock is fine for everyone.

    MythBusters did a great episode about how some thumb print readers can be defeated by using a photocopy of someone's fingerprints :P Though for more advanced ones, you can use a silicon mold of the person's prints over your own finger. I guess retinal scans could work though, I don't know too much about them.

    I'll stick with the normal slide to unlock, as I don't keep anything sensitive on my phone to begin with, and I can remote wipe it anyway if it gets lost or stolen :)
