April 27, 2006 Life Thanks, PNC. Dear Sam, We noticed you have less than $0 in your account. Now you have $30 less. Thanks, PNC Bank This Post Has 4 Comments phearmymaddan 27 Apr 2006 I just love those. Sometimes if you make up an excuse they’ll reverse it a couple of times a year. My friend is at BofA, and you’d think they’d be the least likely to do it, but they’d do a couple a year for him even without an excuse. stargazer42 27 Apr 2006 Yeah, I think I went to PNC on the verge of tears after being hit with like 3 of those fees at once and they waived one. They gave me a hard time saying that they’re not supposed to do it and that they might get fired for it (which I didn’t buy)… but they gave it to me anyway. phearmymaddan 28 Apr 2006 Yeah, I don’t buy that “shouldn’t/can’t” do it story anymore. I’ve seen low-level, front-line people credit my account with stuff in too many businesses now, including cases where I just had to go find a more sympathetic person to talk to. Certainly even where those people were hesitant to do it, their managers would do it without question. granitor 30 Apr 2006 Banks suck I keep most of my cash with a credit union, since both of the banks I had accounts with decided to start charging me – for having and account, every month – for using the ATM, even if all I did was check my balance – for doing any sort of transaction at the counter … to the point that I lost patience before I lost my money, and closed one account, and just neglected to renew the other. Apparently, the other tells me I can pay them $8.19 if I want to know what my balance is. But, whatever. I care not. Comments are closed.
