This works by scraping data from the Dexcom Share web API, so it requires an iOS device to be paired with the transmitter until Dexcom release an Android version of the Share uploader app or xDrip/nightwatch reverse engineers the new protocol for the G5 transmitters.

I might release this to the Play Store when it's a bit more polished, but in the meantime the source is on github: https://github.com/c99koder/DexcomShareDashclock

Inserting the sensor under my skin was pretty painless, now I have to wait two hours for it to calibrate. Hopefully it works!

Finally retiring my original Moto X. The 6P is SO MUCH FASTER! Very impressed so far.
