website update

I’m working on an update for my website which features a much better looking layout, better livejournal integration, and flickr integration. It’s still got some quirks in Internet Explorer that I have to work out, and a few of the pages aren’t finished yet, but if you’re running Firefox you can check it out here. Feedback welcome.

Honey’s Visitor

Honey had a visitor today! A black and white cat came to play with her. Check out the video!

Switching teams

So I finally took the plunge and replaced my Slackware Linux server with Ubuntu Linux. Everything seems to be up and running again now, we’ll see how it goes!

says I have to!

If you comment…

1. I’ll respond with something random I like about you.
2. I’ll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I’ll name something we should do together.
4. I’ll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me).
5. I’ll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
6. I’ll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you.
7. I’ll ask you something that I’ve always wondered about you.
8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal so you can do the same for other people. You MUST!

Misc site updates

I’ve changed the way my LiveJournal feed get syndicated out to my websites. Instead of using LJ’s built-in RSS feeds, I’m now using an RSS S2 style. The most noticable difference is that now the DCSquares website actually displays all the news entries again 🙂

As for DCSquares, a new version is going to be released along with GOAT Games Volume 1 for the Sega Dreamcast. The PC/Mac version should follow several weeks later. There’s no hard release date for GOAT Games, but it should be out in a few months.

Fish!

I bought a fish tank!

It’s filled with 3 Buenos Aires Tetra, and some bright orange plants and a castle!

Honey has already begun planning her attack:

Success!

From the first day she came down to my basement, Honey has been plotting a way to get up to the windows near the top of the walls of the basement. She’d spend hours just staring up at them. Well wednesday, she finally succeeded! She climbed from my futon onto my bookshelf, jumped up onto the CD holder, and took a leap of faith right up to the window sill! I grabbed the camera to celebrate her accomplishment, and threw some of the pics up on flickr.

I don’t dust or clean up there ’cause it’s too high, so she was all covered in spiderwebs and yuck when she finally figured out how to get back down again.

2006

Happy new year! Everyone have a good 2006.
