Behind the scenes of tonight's homework assignment:  I've used GND filters in the past, but this was my first attempt at using colored filters.  I stacked a graduated red filter and a graduated yellow filter to create a "sunset" kind of background.  That's spaghetti in the windows, and the swing rope is dental floss! I'm much better at photography than arts and crafts 🙂

  1. So what does the other camera see?

  2. Thank you for posting both pics. It looks like a fun project with a lot of possibilities.

  3. Neat idea. I just got a Lee Big Stopper and Foundation Kit as an upgrade from Cokin, looking to finish it out with a few GNDs and a reverse GND. Been scratching my head over if there was any reason for a colored filter.

You could also try a CTO or yellow Gel on the flash, I wonder how that would turn out.
